Earn Your Keys · iPhone and AndroidStart with these quick checks
- A started drive keeps recording when the screen locks or you switch to Maps. On iPhone the location indicator shows, and on Android a "Recording a supervised drive" notification shows, until you tap Stop.
- Allow notifications so the "Still driving?" check can reach you while another app is open. If the car sits still for 10 minutes, the drive ends on its own and is saved as ending when you stopped.
- Open system Settings and confirm Earn Your Keys has While Using location permission. Precise location produces the best route and distance results.
- If location is unavailable or denied, choose timer-only mode. Route, distance, speed, and automatic night classification will not be recorded.
- Use History to review or delete a drive. Use Settings → Delete all data to erase all local app information.
